"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man... Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left." In the Days of Noah, who was left behind and who was taken? "So it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." Matthew 24:37, 40
"Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus will appear in the sky to gather His elect "immediately after the distress of those days."
God is raising up Cities of Refuge around the world to protect His own during the challenging times that are coming. He is, even now, having His people prepare farms, houses, and underground places in which "The LORD their God will care for them"
"Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD's anger." Zephaniah 2:3
"Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by." Isaiah 26:20
"The land by the sea, where the Kerethites dwell, will be a place for shepherds and sheep pens. It will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; there they will find pasture. In the evening they will lie down in the houses of Ashkelon. The LORD their God will care for them; he will restore their fortunes." Zephaniah 2:7
